Blood Donation Camp Organized by Prayas Welfare Society

On December 1, 2024, Prayas Welfare Society organized a blood donation camp at Sharda Narayan Hospital in Mau. The main goal of this camp was to help patients suffering from Thalassemia, a serious blood disorder that requires patients to get blood transfusions regularly.

The event was a big success, with 28 kind-hearted donors stepping forward to donate their blood. This generous act will provide much-needed support to Thalassemia patients who often face difficulties finding suitable blood for their treatment.

Blood donation is a simple but powerful way to help save lives. It is especially important for patients with conditions like Thalassemia, as they depend on regular blood transfusions to stay healthy. Events like this camp not only help patients but also raise awareness about the importance of donating blood.

Prayas Welfare Society expressed its heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated. The donors’ kindness and the hard work of the organizers and volunteers made the camp a success. Their efforts will bring hope and relief to many patients and their families.

The society is committed to continuing such efforts in the future and encourages more people to join hands in helping those in need. Blood donation is a small act, but it has a big impact on saving lives and spreading positivity in the community.
